In this role, you will support the Senior Merchandiser by ensuring stock levels are optimised to meet sales targets and customer demand. You’ll play a crucial role in managing stock flow, maintaining key relationships with suppliers, and contributing to the success of our product range.

As an Assistant Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the Merchandiser in managing stock availability and forecasting stock levels to meet sales targets.
• Assisting in the management of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales margin and stock levels.
• Regularly reviewing weekly stock, sales, and intake (WSSI) for your assigned categories.
• Helping with the open-to-buy process and recommending adjustments to maximise sales.
• Analysing sales trends, assisting with planning, and providing input on promotional activities.
• Assisting in producing detailed reports to track stock, sales performance, and other key metrics.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure stock is always in the right place at the right time.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Experience or knowledge in using WSSI and stock management processes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Commercial awareness with a good understanding of sales targets and margins.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
