Your Impact and Responsibilities…
As our Visual Merchandising Manager, you will:
• Lead with Purpose: Manage, motivate, and develop a team of Visual Merchandisers, ensuring deadlines and planning standards are consistently met.
• Deliver Excellence: Create and maintain VM planograms for the core business, supporting the range review process and driving efficiencies within store layouts.
• Collaborate Effectively: Build relationships with retail field teams and work cross-functionally with Commercial and Supply teams to optimise the customer journey and return on space.
• Drive Performance: Analyse category performance and provide recommendations to enhance space vs sales metrics.
• Innovate Processes: Continuously review and improve VM processes to ensure efficiency and simplicity.
Skills and Knowledge…
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within the discount retail or FMCG sector, and experience leading a team of Visual Merchandisers.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of retail design, spatial design principles, customer shopping habits, and proficiency in AutoCAD or space planning software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Communication and Organisation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership: A proven track record in motivating and developing teams to achieve their best.
