About this amazing opportunity

As a Customer Relations Adviser you will deliver amazing value service to our customers and to be the voice of our customers within the business.

You will also ensure that all customer enquiries are answered and managed from inception to completion in line with our service level agreements and customer feedback, whether received via email, letter, telephone or any social media site is noted on our internal systems.  

 Key Accountabilities

  • Actively investigate ways of improving customer service and customer experience
  • Ensure customer complaints are dealt with professionally
  • Monitor, record and evaluate customer complaints
  • Manage complaints from start to finish
  • Ensure accuracy of information and data issued
  • Provide regular management information back into the function in order to identify areas for improvement
  • Look for ways to continually improve the service of the Customer Relations function both in terms of effectiveness and cost
  • Adhere to and meet Service Level Agreements and KPI’s
  • Maintain an upbeat positive aptitude towards Poundland cherished customers


About You

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working in a customer relations role
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of consumer legislation and best practice
  • Knowledge of using database/information systems
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-reliant and confident decision maker
