Job role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst who will support all aspects of trading and reporting to the PEP&CO business as it enters a new phase of significant growth.


The team is small, unbureaucratic and fast-paced with big ambitions for the business. It offers the unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and well-funded business during a high-growth phase of its development.


The role will take ownership for providing commercial insight & analysis to drive business improvements during this exciting period of expansion. 

It will be the number two to the Head of Commercial Finance. 

What skills and experience will you need ?

We're looking for someone who is progressive and can grow with the business.   An individual who has excelled academically, professionally and wants to learn from some of the best executives in the retail industry.


  • Use of “Big Data” - working with an analytics tool developing a test and learn approach to business change
  • Store level planning, target setting & labour planning   
  • Conducting trend and operational analysis to support business decision making including “what if” analysis
  • Providing commercial challenge and insight into sales, stock, pricing & margin from a finance perspective
  • Adhoc analysis as per business requirements

Skills & experience

  • CIMA Qualified Accountant or highly analytical Commercial Analyst
  • Motivated self-starter 
  • Highly analytical and commercial.  Able to draw actionable insights from data
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the business
  • Experience working in Retail or FMCG preferred.
